Where am I covered?

How do I turn
on/off protection?

Your protection can last as long as you want and you can turn it ON or OFF at any time with a few taps from your Trōv.

When you turn protection ON, you’re billed for the time remaining in that month, then on the first of each month thereafter. If you turn protection OFF, you’re refunded the time remaining in that month.

When and how do I pay?

You pay your premium monthly, and monthly premiums may vary as they are calculated on a daily basis.

What are my obligations?

In the event of a claim or possible claim: You will need to pay the agreed excess as shown in your protection summary. You must tell us what happened and provide us with assistance so that we can investigate your claim.

You must update us of all change of address as soon as possible but not later than 30 days. Not changing these details in your Trōv profile may invalidate your protection.

If you need any assistance or help making a claim you can email support@trov.co.uk.

How do I cancel the contract?

If you change your mind, you can cancel protection back to the start date as if it had never existed within the first 14 days of protection on your first item. You will receive a full refund unless you have made a claim during the Terms of Protection period in which case the full Terms of Protection premium will be payable and no refund will be paid.
Otherwise you can turn off protection of any protected item at any time. If you turn off protection, you will receive a pro-rata refund for any protection you have already paid for and not used.
Turning off protection for the last protected item in your Trōv will bring your agreement with us to an end.
